Hear Our Story

We work with government, policy makers, mainstream agencies, local and international organisations, to raise awareness on the barriers and challenges faced by refugees. asylum seekers and forcefully displaced individuals that prevents them from accessing support; and seek ways to provide the necessary support they need to live a safer and healthier lives.

Our History

In 2014, driven by inspiration and personal experiences, Shulamite Ezechi founded ANYISO, to create a platform where ethnic minority women and young people could be reached and to provide them with the support needed for them to be empowered. Shulamite Ezechi initially started the organisation as a voluntary organisation in 2014 and in 2016 it became a registered charity.

Our Impact

The impact ANYiSO has made within our community cannot be over emphasized. We create a much friendly atmosphere were people come to access support, make new friends and be integrated within the community. We operate Mondays to Fridays with various activities. We partner with national and international organisations to empower ethnic minorities, refugees and asylum seekers and anyone in the community that need our service, to enable them fulfil their true potentials.

We provide skill development training's, workshops, seminars and connect our service users with our various networks and partners for support and services. ANYiSO will continue to promote community integration and cohesion by bringing people in the community together, and provide the necessary support and services needed to empower, promote equality, reduce isolation and enable them live a more resourceful and independent life.

We are proud to be one of the highly recognized charities that work with Africans and ethnic minorities in Scotland. Our success has been recognized in a number of press and media articles both nationally and internationally, and the organisation has received a variety of awards and nominations.

The cultural diversity event today was full of fun, I met people from different cultures, traditions and ethnicity. I enjoyed the food, dance, music and fashion show. Although it Was a 3hours event I wished it lasted for 5 hours. What a great way of promoting integration, diversity, equality and love within communities. Well done ANYiSO.
